| History: | Gail traveled to Italy and hand-picked each of the 24kt beds from a fourth generation Venetian owned jewelry factory. Each bead is still being individually handmade by craftswomen using the same recipe for over 800 years. The vintage Swarovski crystal beads are in pristine condition and were manufactured in Austria between 1920 - 1938 and 1945 - 1954. To prove their authenticity, Be has the honor of taking them directly from their original packages. | |
| Designer Insider: | I call this necklace "Sassy" because even though she is a shorter version of my other venetian necklaces of this style, she still exudes sophisticated glamour. The Swarovski in the second row of the choker portion are very rare and it is always a pleasure for me to take beads so obviously vintage and weave it into a contemporary "Now" design. This necklace is fun, strong and very expressive. It is for a woman that can show her analytical ability when she needs to-- but she can also be the Life-of-the-Party-- when she wants to be. | |
